This is a collection of photos for one my clients, the United States Tennis Association Mid-Atlantic Section, USTAMAS for short. I provided tournament coverage for the organization for multi-day sports tournaments. The USTAMAS is part of the United States Tennis Association, USTA, the largest tennis organization in the United States.
These multi-day tournaments hosts some of the best "recreational" tennis players throughout Maryland, D.C, Virginia, and part of West Virginia of all age, gender, and skill level. To qualify, a team had to compete and win in a local league. After that, they are able to compete in regionals for a chance to earn a spot at Sectionals. If they win Sectionals, they can go and compete in Nationals.
So this is a very competitive "recreational" tournament. However, in the end, it's all about having fun and promoting the game of tennis. As a competitive and former college tennis player, that's all that matters.
