Brook Lane's Inagural Bridge to Hope Affair

Brook Lane, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization providing mental and behavioral health services for over 70 years. They are also one of the largest mental health providers in the Western Maryland and Eastern Panhandle region. In fact, some employees have reached their 50th Work Anniversary working for Brook Lane.

As an event photographer, one of my jobs is to blend in with the guests and make them feel at ease getting their photos taken. Therefore, it's important for me to keep both my eyes and ears open as well as engage with the guests from time to time. I was amazed to hear how Brook Lane positively impacted their friend, family, and colleagues' lives. I heard some say Brook Lane saved and turned around their child's life.

This was Brook Lane's first fundraiser gala that was postponed for two years due to Covid-19. Two years later, I was excited they were able to kick off this night as it also leads up to Mental Health Awareness Month. It was an honor to provide photography and some videography coverage of this event. I talked to the Director of Development, and he said it was a successful event.
