Baltimore Cupid Undie's Run 2022

When I first learned about this event, I had a few thoughts in my mind. One was "what the heck, it's way too cold to run outside in your boxers!" Two was "hell yeah this seems like fun!" Three was "why?" The answer to number three was all I needed to say yes.

The Cupid Undie's Run is a nonprofit with a goal to find a cure for Neurofibromatosis, NF for short. NF is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout their body.

The Cupid Undie's Run was founded in 2010 when co-founders Brendan Hanrahan, Chad Leathers, Bobby Gill and a bunch of other people decided to run around Washington D.C. in their underwear in the cold to raise money and #EndNF. NF stands for Neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on the nerves throughout their body. This disorder affects 1 in every 3,000 births and worst of all, there is no cure. Which is the main reason why they ran around in their underwear. People with NF can't hide the tumors around their body, "so they decided to strip down in solidarity."

This was a fun event and I was glad I can use my skills as a photographer to give back to a great cause
